Postdoc

Previously a member of the ERC Project PROTEUS, I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the COSMOS project (Università degli Studi di Milano), where I work on concepts linked to the problem of the origin of the universe. In particular, I focus on Time, Infinity, Chance, and Causality. In October 2022, I received my PhD cum laude at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with a dissertation titled “Time and Chances Before the Changing Universe: A Metaphysical Inquiry,” in which I proposed a new type of explanation for the beginning of the universe, pointing out its relevance in contrast with theological proposals. I am currently writing a monograph based on the dissertation.

My research interests also include the History and Philosophy of Cosmology. In particular, I am working on the interpretation of classical cosmological models.
